Vice President, Treasury & Investor Relations | PG&E Corporation
Chris Foster was named Vice President, Treasury and Investor Relations for PG&E Corporation in April 2020. He is responsible for managing the Corporate Development, Investor Relations, Investments and Benefits Finance, and Treasury organizations.
Before moving to the Finance and Risk organization in 2017, Foster was Director of Integrated Grid Planning and Innovation within PG&E’s Grid Integration and Innovation team, responsible for the planning, design and execution of the company’s grid of the future. Foster led efforts to advance the company’s strategy and advance R&D pilot projects related to grid modernization and distributed energy resources, such as battery storage and electric vehicles. Previously, Foster was the Chief of Staff for PG&E’s Chairman, CEO and President, and started with the company in Washington D.C. on the Federal Affairs team.
Prior to PG&E, Foster worked at a Washington, D.C., law and consulting firm, in the energy, climate and environment practice. He also worked on Capitol Hill for a decade serving in senior roles for multiple members of Congress and congressional committees, focusing on energy and healthcare policy.
Foster graduated with a bachelor’s degree from Michigan State University with a focus on political theory and constitutional democracy.
